PREE
Passageways to Recovery, Employment, and Education
Helping Pierce County Resident Affected by Substance Use Disorder Obtain Education or Employment.
Our definition of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is We All Belong. A place where all of us have a responsibility to accelerate our progress, and where we all are accountable and empowered to drive change—here and in the communities and lives of the clients we serve. Be yourself, change a life and for every person to use their unique experiences, backgrounds and abilities together—to spark solutions that create a better world.

The Program
The PREE Program is an amazing opportunity to obtain the education you need to enter the workforce. Three full-time case managers can help you formulate an education or employment plan and then provide financial assistance and case management to help you achieve those goals. The only requirement is that participants self-attest they have experienced a substance use disorder and reside in Pierce County.
The PREE program can pay for job training such as truck driving school, cosmetology school, barber school, electrician school, welding training, culinary training, or college tuition for one year. Items needed to start work like tools, clothing, and transportation assistance is also available.
The PREE case managers will help you identify your education and employment goals then create a plan to reach those goals.
